Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
Privacy policies are often long and technical, and not always easy to read. This page is here to be clear and transparent.
CopierChoice has been operating since 2010, and throughout that time one principle has not changed: the information you provide on this website is treated as private and confidential.
We collect only the information required to help you find suitable commercial copier and printer options and arrange pricing. That information is used for its intended purpose, such as discussing your requirements, arranging pricing through suitable suppliers when you're ready, and following up your enquiry. We do not sell personal data.
We take reasonable and appropriate steps to protect your information and handle it responsibly. Your trust matters to us, and we take that responsibility seriously.
1. What We Collect
We only collect the information we need to help with your enquiry and arrange pricing. This may include:
- Your name
- Business name
- Postcode or business address
- Email address and phone number
- Details about your printing needs, such as paper size, the size of your business, approximate monthly printing, whether you need copying and scanning, and any brand or model you are interested in
- Whether you are open to similar models from other brands
- Whether you are considering leasing or purchasing
- When you would like us to call you
- How you found our website, such as the advertisement or link you clicked
We do not collect sensitive personal information (e.g. health, religious, or biometric data).
2. How We Collect It
We collect information when you:
- Complete a Get pricing or Help me choose form on our site
- Contact us directly by email or phone
- Interact with our website (via cookies, see Section 7)
You can browse our website without telling us who you are. We only receive your contact details if you choose to provide them.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your details to:
- Contact you about your enquiry and discuss your requirements
- Arrange pricing and options through suitable suppliers, when you're ready
- Communicate with you about your request or related services
- Contact you from time to time about matters relevant to your printing (see Section 4)
- Measure how well our advertising works, for example by recording that your visit came from an online advertisement
- Meet legal requirements or resolve disputes
- Analyse trends and improve our service (using de-identified data)
We do not sell your information.
4. Marketing and Follow-Up Contact
When you ask for pricing or help choosing equipment through our website, you give us your business contact details so we can help with your enquiry.
By submitting that request you consent to CopierChoice contacting you about the enquiry itself, and to us contacting you from time to time afterwards about matters relevant to your printing. That may include equipment and pricing information, replacement options, and letting you know when your current equipment or agreement may be approaching renewal or replacement.
We may contact you by email, and/or by telephone where you have given us a phone number. We do not sell your contact details, and we only pass them to suppliers when arranging the pricing you have asked for.
You can opt out of this contact at any time, using the unsubscribe link in any email we send you, by telling us when we call, or by contacting us at admin@copierchoice.com.au. Opting out does not affect an enquiry already in progress, and we will still be able to deal with that enquiry.
We keep a record of when you gave this consent and the wording you were shown at the time.
5. Who We Share It With
We only share your details with:
- Pre-screened suppliers relevant to your request, when we arrange pricing for you
- Advertising platforms such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google, in a scrambled (hashed) form, so we can measure the results of our advertising
- Other parties where required or authorised by law
We require suppliers to respect your privacy, but they operate under their own privacy policies. Please check their terms before engaging with them.
6. Data Storage and Security
We use trusted technology providers for services such as website hosting, email, customer records, analytics and advertising measurement. Your information may be stored or processed through these systems as part of providing those services to us. We store your information on secure systems, some of which may be located outside Australia. Where information is processed or stored overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure our service providers maintain appropriate privacy, security and confidentiality standards. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure.
7. Cookies and Website Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- Keep the site working properly (essential cookies)

Our site may link to external websites, including third-party service providers, reference sites, or social media platforms. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or security of these external sites, and we encourage you to review their policies before providing any personal information.
